Hi and thank you for looking at our website.

As the History page tells you The Dunelm was founded in 1970 and this is when I joined The Dunelm with my parents and sister as a 7 year old child. Since that time I have never looked back and The Dunelm has brought me many happy memories and I have made so many friends over the years.

Over the years the club has developed into an all year round club and as well as having a full programmes of rallies from March to October we have social events during the winter months and a programme of winter walks which keeps everyone in touch.

The Dunelm is not just a club but a meeting of friends and very often family as we have members where we have parents, children and grand children.

Although over the weekend we do have a communal tent for everyone to meet on a night the weekend is yours to do what you want and if you don’t want to join in that you don’t have to.

It may be that you have never been to a rally before so have a look at the section which tells you about rallies – all I can say is it is not like being on a formal site and although the modern caravan seems to be designed for electrics you can more than cope with what you will need on a battery. You will never find yourself stuck as there is always someone around to help.

I love being part of The Dunelm and look forward to each weekend to relax in the countryside after a hard week at work. This might just be the right time for you to join us so why not give it a go?

The best way to find out is to give it a try.
